Numeracy Reflection Term 1 Week 10

This week I have been learning to solve adding problems by adding tens.  I found this fun and easy to work out the answer. Next time I will be able to make my video faster as I know what to do.

This week for Literacy I did some literacy poems. The best part was we did not have to write at all because it was a spine poem. We had to use the spines of 4 or 6 books and put them together to make a poem.

This week we have been learning to say the face place and total value of each digit in 4 digit numbers.  Once I got the hang of this it was easy.  Now I would like to do harder ones with large numbers.

This week we have been learning about place value and hundreds, tens and ones.  I enjoyed this task because you got to make the number in lots of different ways.

This is my Co-ordinates-Position. i used a google slide.  I learnt how to read co ordinates and go from one place to another.  I would like to work on writing more information down to explain my learning.

Maths DLO Week 5 Term 3

This is my DLO about fractions. It was fun to make. I want to work on my tricker fractions like eights and sevenths.  Next term I could use screencastify or stop motion animator to share my learning to make it a little bit more interesting.

This is my writing on my ipad it is fun to do writing on it because I can take a photo of my weekend and then I write about it.  I use this as an extra writing activity.

This is my counting in tens it is fun for me to do.  I learnt how to skip count in 10s .

 PREP

 A big thanks to Phill for helping in our prep group we made wooden cars, pencil holders, dice, heads and tails coins.  We made a really big profit too.  I enjoyed PrEP and the big market was fun as there was heaps of stuff there to buy.

Reflections Week 8 Term 2

This is me on my granddads digger it was fun we had to get a spa on to his truck.  I wrote this story independently.  I am proud of my story.

 This my punctuation it was hard for me because I couldn't figure out what went where.  I need to keep practicing this.

This is my screencastify about wolves.  We had to develop strong questions and then choose a buddy to ask and answer them with.   it was fun 

This is my face, place and total value work.  I thought that this was fun because you had to figure out what ones were which.

We are practicing using similes and metaphors.  I am getting better as knowing which is which.
